St. Anthony in New Orleans- The Saint of Miracles among us.

Saturday December 2nd to Sunday December 10th 2023.

For the first time two Holy Relics of St. Anthony of Padua will visit the Archdiocese of New Orleans from Saturday, December 2 to Sunday, December 10.

The two first-class Relics will be accompanied by Father Mario Conte, a Franciscan friar from the Pontifical Basilica of St. Anthony in Padua, Italy. The two Relics on tour are fragments of St. Anthony’s Facial Skin and his Floating Rib. The Relic of the Floating Rib has special significance for the friars of Padua because it was venerated by Lucy of Fatima in her convent in Coimbra in 1995, and by then-Archbishop Jorge Maria Bergoglio (now Pope Francis) in the Cathedral of Buenos Aires in 2000.

The relics of our beloved Saint Anthony of Padua that will remain exposed during the Eucaristic Celebrations scheduled during the aforementioned dates, as well as during the Veneration hours.

Please join us for reflection and prayer in unity and celebration. Rest assured that your spirit will be elevated and your personal devotion will be enhanced. Together, we will strengthen the bond that unites us as St Anthony’s family.

Peace and all good.
