Pontifical Basilica of St Anthony – All religious services are suspended until Sunday 8 March

In compliance with the indications contained in the Ordinanza contingibile e urgente n.1 (Contingent and urgent ordinance n.1) emanated today, 23 February 2020, by the Ministry of Health in conjunction with the President of the Veneto Region (Misure urgenti in materia di contenimento e gestione dell’emergenza epidemiologica da COVID-2019, art. 1.2a – Urgent measures in relation to the containment and management of the epidemiological emergency COVID-2019, art. 1.2a) and in agreement with the Ordinary of the Basilica, Monsignor Fabio Dal Cin, Pontifical Delegate, and with the Bishop of Padua, Monsignor Claudio Cipolla, we notify that from Monday 24 February until Sunday 1 March all religious services (Holy Masses, Confessions, Blessings, Via Crucis, Eucharistic Adoration) are suspended. In this same period all museum areas in the Basilica are also closed (Oratory of St George, Little School, the Museums) as well as the Multimedia Exhibition.

The Basilica remains open to the public for personal prayer within the normal opening and closing hours (6:20-18:45).
