While waiting your turn to enter the Door of Mercy, recite the St. Francis Prayer given be- low; once you have reached the Door, stop for a moment at the threshold and touch the Jubilee Medallion fixed on the door post, then proceed to the Crucifix nearby, touch it, and sign yourself with the sign of the cross.
