The last Exposition of the mortal remains of Saint Anthony took place during the scientific examination of 1981.

Q: How long will the upcoming Exposition last?
A: Saint Anthony’s mortal remains will be displayed for the veneration of the faithful from 15 to 20 February 2010.


Q: Will it be possible to see the Saint’s mortal remains without prior booking?
A: Yes. Pilgrims will be allowed into the Shrine without prior booking in accordance with the Basilica’s opening hours.

Q: Where can I find more information on Saint Anthony?
A: Our Publishing House, Edizioni Messaggero Padova has published many books on the Saint’s life, teachings, spirituality and legacy. Visit our site Edizioni Messaggero Padova which contains a complete list of our publications, which may also be ordered on-line.

Q: Where can I find information on the city of Padua?
A: Two excellent sites providing valuable information for tourists are: www.padovanet.it and www.turismopadova.it

Q: Is there a hotel close to the Basilica?
A: The Casa del Pellegrino is very close to the Basilica, in the heart of the city. It is also close to the hospital and to Prato della Valle.
